OpenBook, widely acknowledged as the pioneer of Home Information Packs (HIPs), has been providing 'sellers’ packs' to clients since 1996. We took part in the Government's Bristol pilot scheme in 1999 and presented on the subject to both the Cross Party Parliamentary Select Committee and the House of Lords in 2005.
Today we are one of the market leading suppliers of HIPs and the major independent company in the sector. We are on the board of AHIPPS, the industry regulatory body.
Since legislation was passed on 1st June 2007, OpenBook’s client list has grown to include one of the UK’s largest estate agents, a major conveyancing solutions provider and major estate agents’ software solutions providers, as well as an increasing number of individual consumers.
